Our prestigious client in Montreal is looking for a Production engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

Make health and safety a daily priority.

Promote and provide leadership in health and safety.

Responsible for carrying out all health and safety related tasks contained in the job.

Monitor performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Manage and analyze lead times, productivity, and other performance indicators.

Propose and implement initiatives to improve our production processes and equipment.

Eliminate sources of waste. Follow up on improvement projects.

Plan quarry operations by developing production plans to optimize inventory

Plan operations and overdraft by developing operating plans, monitoring costs, and assisting in the management of operations in accordance with the standards in place.

Consider the environmental variables applicable to the sector’s activities.

Adopt behavior that respects quality concepts and comply with procedures, laws, and regulations.

Environment: environmental audits

Qualifications:

DEC or B. Eng in industrial, mechanical, civil or mining engineering;

Minimum 2 years experience in a production environment (mining or quarrying, an asset);

Knowledge and skills:

Organizational skills, analytical skills and attention to detail;

excellent communication skills;

Ability to adapt to changing priorities;

Be open to the ideas and contributions of others;

Analyzes problems into manageable items to better understand the difficulties

Bilingualism: excellent command of French and functional level in English;

Excellent command of the Office suite (Word and Excel) and Autocad;

Knowledge of operating and modeling software (Aggflow and Propeller) is an asset;

Knowledge of SAP is an asset;

Possess a valid driving license.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Day shift

Monday to Friday
