Position: Mobile Mechanic (Hourly Paid – Day Shift) Union: Unifor Union, Local 219-0 Hourly Rate: Competitive ($39.80/hour) Benefits: Included

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair all Lafarge owned equipment

Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and procedures

Maintain high-quality standards to meet customer expectations

Thrive in a participative work environment

Actively engage in training and continuous improvement initiatives

Perform preventive maintenance and keep detailed records

Repair heavy mobile equipment, small road vehicles, and more

Qualifications:

Hold both heavy-duty equipment technician (421A) and automotive service technician (310 S) trade certifications in Ontario

Proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical aspects of mobile equipment components

Possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Strong decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize and resolve issues promptly
