Finance Manager

Our prestigious client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager to join their growing team. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role as a “Business Partner,” assisting in developing and implementing product line objectives and strategies.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounting and reporting functions of the plant, including preparation of management presentations.

Review and analyze financial results, identifying areas for improvement.

Provide financial support to senior management

Analyze results, provide commentaries, and make recommendations

Collaborate with the plant team to prepare annual budgets, mid-term plans, and regular forecasting activities.

Perform financial modeling and quantitative analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and trends.

Provide timely and reliable financial information to local Senior Leaders and Finance Director.

Oversee fixed assets accounting, validation, physical count, and controls.

Reconcile asset and liability accounts for plants and ensure accurate balance sheet reporting.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.

5+ years of financial management experience with increasing responsibility.

Professional accounting designation required (CMA, CGA, CPA, or CA).

SAP and HARP knowledge experience is an asset.

Bilingual (English – French) is a must.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
