5-6am start – 9 hour shifts

Pay rate: $27-$32 – based on exp.

DZ driver – 3 years exp. – straight truck

Ability to operate both standard and automatic is an asset

2-3 runs per day throughout the GTA

Handbomb is required – amount of handbombing depends on the deliveries

Must be able to lift up to and including 50lbs

Driver is responsible for loading the truck, but do not offload when they arrive at their destination

Will be required to use a pallet jack

Local city transport and pick up of construction building product from Company’s primary head office to customer site.

Plan routes and meet delivery schedules in accordance with Company’s shipping standards.

Conduct and perform daily pre-start commercial vehicle inspections with completion of necessary repairs to vehicles to ensure operational safety.

Maintain appropriate logbooks in accordance with Transport Canada guidelines.

Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.

Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.

Report defects, accidents or violations to management in accordance with the company’s Reporting and Investigation practices.
